Trolley of Lights- Sun- Fri (12/15-12/23) ABQ Trolley Company

Enjoy an incredible Albuquerque lights show with luminarias, nutcrackers, eggnog, Christmas trees… and of course LIGHTS! The trolley departs from Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town.  Be sure to bring blankets, mittens and hats as the nights can get a little breezy and cool.  

Mariachi Christmas- Sunday, December 19, 3-5 p.m.- Popejoy Hall

This is a true New Mexican holiday tradition!!! Beautiful, colorful twirling dresses, violins, horns and trumpets create the perfect sights and sounds of Christmas in Mexico!  Featuring exciting Mariachi music by Mariachi Aztlan and incredible dance by ballet by Folklorico University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Carol of the Bells- Sunday, December 19, 3:00 p.m.- Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Nob Hill

An amazing concert event with the New Mexico Philharmonic in the perfect setting of the Immanuel Presbyterian Church! Rio Grande Community Farm is proud to announce that they will be hosting the Maize Maze again in 2021. This year’s event takes place on the weekend of October 23rd and 24th, with thier annual FarmStrong 5k and Fun Run, live music, a beer garden, food trucks, vendors, games, hay rides, Pick Your Own (PYO) Sunflowers, and more. This year they are delighted to partner with our neighbors at The AgriNature center, who will be hosting educational workshops.

The McCall's old cattle barn and meat processing facility have been closed for years.... however, the rumor is that neighbors have seen activity around the barn late into the night and have heard strange sounds coming from animal, human???....

The past does not die easily. This haunted cornfield is tormented by the ghosts of many of Farmer McCall's victims. Their desire is to have their story heard and, unfortunately for you, that often leads to new victims joining their ranks.

We would like to wish all of you the best this Independence Day. We've been thought so much over the past year. But we persevered and are bold. And that's what makes us free.

If you want to celebrate the 4th with a grand event, come to the Rio Rancho 4th of July celebration at Campus Park. 

For the first time ever, Campus Park, featuring the Sky Room outdoor performance space and amphitheater, will open to the public for some summer fun. Spectators will enjoy live music by the 44th Army Band and a special concert by the New Mexico Philharmonic. Following the performances, a spectacular fireworks show will begin. Admission to these events is free. For those wishing to only view the fireworks and not wanting to attend the musical performances or visit Campus Park, there is ample parking available in the multiple lots surrounding City Center. Visitors may park in the lots and tailgate as they enjoy a dazzling fireworks display. Performance times:

• 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.—44th Army Band
• 8:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.—Campus Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and reading of Independence Day Proclamation
• 8:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.—New Mexico Philharmonic
• 9:15 p.m.—Fireworks Extravaganza
